1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using TallySmarts, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use TallySmarts. TallySmarts is operated by Griko Pty Ltd.

2. What TallySmarts is

TallySmarts is a personal and small-business finance tracking tool. It lets you manually record and categorize transactions, set budgets, track bills, and see your net worth, either by typing entries in yourself or importing a CSV file you've downloaded from your own bank.

TallySmarts is not a bank, and it is not connected to your bank account. It cannot move, transfer, or access your money, and it has no visibility into your accounts beyond what you choose to type in or upload. TallySmarts is also not a financial advisor, tax agent, or legal service — nothing in the app is financial, tax, investment, or legal advice, and you should not treat it as such. Always verify your figures against your actual bank and financial records, and consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.

3. Your account

• You must provide accurate information when signing up
• You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that happens under your account
• Let us know immediately at admin@griko.com.au if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use TallySmarts for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access another user's data, or attempt to bypass, disable, or probe our security measures
• Use automated tools to scrape, spam, or overload the service
• Upload malicious files or attempt to introduce malware through the CSV import feature

5. Your data

You own the data you enter into TallySmarts. You give us permission to store and process it solely for the purpose of providing the TallySmarts service back to you. You can correct or permanently delete your data at any time, and on paid plans you can also export it from the desktop version of the app — see our Privacy Policy for details.

6. No warranty

TallySmarts is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any calculation, total, or category suggestion will be accurate — you're responsible for reviewing and verifying anything TallySmarts shows you against your own records.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Griko Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of TallySmarts, including any financial decisions made based on information in the app. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under law that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Ending your use of TallySmarts

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including the acceptable use rules above.

9. Changes

We may update these terms or the TallySmarts service from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above and let you know of any material changes by email or an in-app notice. Continuing to use TallySmarts after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
